Charm Challenge Rewards

Rank 1 and Rank 2 Rewards

Rank 3 and Rank 4-5 Rewards

Rank 6-10 and Rank 11-20 Rewards

Rank 21-50 and Rank 51-100 Rewards

Overall, the charm challenge isn't great. The energy potions and explorations are nice, but they aren't worth spending gems. This is one of those challenges where you should only use resources that you have collected.

When Does the Charm Challenge Start?

The Charm Challenge starts after the Arena/Heir Challenges and lasts for three days. It always pairs up with the District Challenge.

Preparing for the Charm Challenge

Charm Items

Headwear : 1 charm

Attire : 2 charm

Trinket Pack : 2-5 charm

One thing you should be doing to prepare for the Charm Challenge is attending banquets. Banquets give gifts that can include charm items such as attire.

Another place to get charm items is the Development Guide. Every ten levels you complete will be followed by a chest that gives 10 headwear and 10 rings.

Expeditions can also give headwear, but I don't recommend getting them from there.

Valley of Conquerors gives headwear where you collect your reward from Alliance Total Points.

Events are also a great place to get charm items.

During the Charm Challenge

As with any event, your goal should be to improve your account while earning points towards rewards. So, you want to try to be as efficient as possible with your points.

Each companion you have has a charm level. When their charm level reaches a certain number, based on their stars, they give a bonus towards their respective District Category. Even though the breakpoints are increased on higher star companions, they are still the better ones to put your points in because they give more charm per point.

One Star Companions

50 points: Increase (district category) by 25

100 points: Increase (district category) by 50

300 points: Increase (district category) by 75

Total Increase: 5800 additional District yield

There are currently sixteen 3 star companions in the game. If all three were maxed out that would be an additional 92,800 (district category) yield

Spending Gems

This pack is giving you 40 trinket packs, 40 attire, and 40 headwear for 599 gems.

Trinket packs are a little harder to calculate because they can give 2-5 charm per item. To make it simple, I'll average it valuing 3 charm per item, although it can be better or worse.

Charm for this pack

  • Trinket pack: 120

  • Attire: 80

  • Headwear: 40

Total Charm (estimate): 240

This pack gives 70 trinket packs, 70 attire, 70 headwear, and 10 vigour potions for 1399 gems.

I want to start off by point out that this pack gives less than double the items of the previous pack.

I don't place much value on vigour potions at all.

Charm for this pack

  • Trinket pack: 210

  • Attire: 140

  • Headwear: 70

Total Charm(estimate): 420

Two 599 packs, totaling 1198 gems, would give 480 charm.

201 gems and 60 less charm is not worth 10 vigour potions.

This pack gives 110 trinket packs, 110 attire, 110 headwear, 15 vigour potions, and 40 iron tokens for 1999 gems.

Again, this pack gives less than double of the charm items (and vigour potions) as the previous pack. It does add iron tokens, but 40 iron tokens is only worth 400 enhancement points which is not a lot at all.

Charm for this pack

  • Trinket pack: 330

  • Attire: 220

  • Headwear: 110

Total Charm(estimate): 660

Three 599 packs, totaling 1797 gems, would give 720 charm.

This pack gives 150 love packs, 150 attire, 150 headwear, 30 vigour potions, and 50 iron tokens for 2999 gems.

This pack also gives less than double of the charm items as the last pack, but it does give double the vigour potions and ten more iron tokens.

Charm for this Pack

  • Trinket pack: 450

  • Attire: 300

  • Headwear: 150

Total Charm(estimate): 900

With 2999 gems, you can be five of the 599 packs and get around 1200 charm. The items in this pack do not make up for a 300 charm loss.

Overall, The Charm Challenge isn't a place I like to sink gems, but it is nice to have the additional gold income. If you do choose to spend gems on charm, stick with the 599 packs as they have the most value.
